Paragraph 9

At the end of section 87 there shall be inserted—

“(3)

This section shall apply also in relation to a casual vacancy in any office for which an election is held, or to which an appointment is made, under Part III of the Local Government Act 1985, taking references to a local authority as reference to the Inner London Education Authority.”
