Section 28 Integrated Transport AuthoritiesF6

England and Wales

(1)

On the appointed day there shall be established for each metropolitan county a body corporate to be known by the name of that county with the addition of the words F1“ Integrated Transport Authority ”.

(2)

The F2authorities established by this section shall be known as F3Integrated Transport Authorities .

(3)

Each F4Integrated Transport Authority established under this section shall consist of members of the constituent councils appointed by them to be members of the authority.

(4)

The constituent councils in relation to F5an Integrated Transport Authority established under this section shall be the councils of the metropolitan districts comprised in the county.
