Article 2 Amendment of registration areas

For the purposes of Part IV of the Rent Act 1977 (registration of rents under regulated tenancies)^f1 there shall be—

(a)

the Bedfordshire registration area comprising the counties^f2 of Bedfordshire and Luton;

(b)

the Buckinghamshire registration area comprising the counties^f3 of Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes;

(c)

the Derbyshire registration area comprising the counties^f4 of Derbyshire and Derby;

(d)

the Dorset registration area comprising the counties^f5of—

(i)

Bournemouth;

(ii)

Dorset; and

(iii)

Poole;

(e)

the Durham registration area comprising the counties^f6 of Darlington and Durham;

(f)

the East Sussex registration area comprising the counties^f7 of Brighton and Hove and East Sussex;

(g)

the Hampshire registration area comprising the counties^f8 of—

(i)

Hampshire;

(ii)

Portsmouth; and

(iii)

Southampton;

(h)

the Leicestershire registration area comprising the counties^f9 of—

(i)

Leicestershire;

(ii)

Leicester; and

(iii)

Rutland;

(i)

the Staffordshire registration area comprising the counties^f10 of Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent;

(j)

the Wiltshire registration area comprising the counties^f11 of Thamesdown and Wiltshire.
