Section 382 Short title, commencement and extent.

This Act may be cited as the Local Government (Scotland) Act, 1947, and shall come into operation on the first day of October, nineteen hundred and forty-seven.

This Act shall, except where otherwise expressly provided, extend only to Scotland.
