Section 54 Consequential provision etc

The Local Government Act 2000 is amended as follows.

Omit section 30 (operation of different executive arrangements).

Before section 33A insert—

“Wales: changing governance arrangements

For provision about changing the governance arrangements of local authorities in Wales, see Part 4 of the Local Government (Wales) Measure 2011.”.

In section 45 (provisions with respect to referendums), in subsection (9), after “this Part” insert “ or under section 40 of the Local Government (Wales) Measure 2011 ”.
