Section 56 (assistance towards capital expenditure on public transport facilities) is amended as follows.

(2)

In subsection (4)(a) after “general policies formulated by” insert “ an Integrated Transport Authority or ”.

(3)

For subsection (6)(bb) substitute—

“(bb)

an Integrated Transport Authority for an integrated transport area in England;”.
