Article 1 Citation and interpretation

This Order may be cited as the Localism Act 2011 (Commencement No. 2 and Transitional and Saving Provision) Order 2012.

In this Order—

• “the Act” means the Localism Act 2011;

• “the 1990 Act” means the Town and Country Planning Act 1990^f1;

• “the 1996 Act” means the Housing Act 1996^f2;

• “the 2000 Act” means the Local Government Act 2000^f3;

• “the 2008 Act” means the Planning Act 2008^f4.
