Article 1 Citation, commencement and interpretation

This Order may be cited as the London Transport Users' Committee (Transitional Provisions) Order 2000 and shall come into force on 28th June 2000.

In this Order—

• “the Act” means the Greater London Authority Act 1999;

• “the 1984 Act” means the London Regional Transport Act 1984^f1;

• “the LRPC” means the London Regional Passengers' Committee;

• “the LTUC” means the London Transport Users' Committee; and

• “the transfer date” means 3rd July 2000.
