Paragraph 12 Stratford Brook Environmental Mitigation AreaI1

No part of the authorised development comprising Work No.33(b) (the new Stratford Brook underbridge) or Work No.54 (environmental mitigation works on land adjoining Stratford Brook) is to commence until details of the mitigation measures to be undertaken have been submitted to and approved in writing by the Secretary of State, following consultation with the Environment Agency and the relevant planning authority.

Details to be approved under sub-paragraph (1) must be substantially in accordance with the measures described in the environmental statement, the REAC and the Water Framework Directive Assessment. The details must include—

The authorised development must be carried out, maintained, managed and monitored in accordance with the details approved under sub-paragraph (1) unless otherwise agreed by the Secretary of State following consultation with the Environment Agency, and under any necessary licences.
