Article 2

Subject to paragraph (2), the Magistrates' Courts Rules 1981^f1 shall have effect subject to the amendments specified in the Schedule to these Rules.

Paragraph 3 of the Schedule shall not have effect in relation to committal proceedings which began before 24th May 1983.
