Regulation 2 Maternity Leave

An employee entitled to maternity leave in accordance with Part III of the Employment Protection (Consolidation) Act 1978^f1, shall not work, or be permitted by her employer to work, during the period of two weeks which commence with the day on which childbirth occurs.
