Section 1 Amendment of s. 659 of 57 & 58 Vict. c. 60.

The power of F1the Secretary of State under section 659 of the Merchant Shipping Act 1894 to determine the annual or other sums to be paid out of the General Lighthouse Fund in respect of the establishment of the general lighthouse authorities, shall extend to F2determining the annual or other sums to be paid out of that fund to members of the general lighthouse authority for England and Wales, and the sums so determined shall have effect notwithstanding anything in any Act limiting the amount thereof.
