Regulation 37 Remote control of propulsion machinery from the navigation bridgeI1
United Kingdom
Every United Kingdom ship constructed on or after 1st May 1981 operating with unmanned machinery spaces, and every other ship constructed on or after 1st September 1984, shall be provided with—
(a)
effective means for the operation and control of main auxiliary machinery essential for the propulsion and safety of the ship; and
(b)
remote control of the propulsion machinery from the navigating bridge in accordance with the provisions of Schedule 5 in Merchant Shipping Notice MSN 1671.
