Regulation 10 Time at which notices relating to undertakings are to be treated as received

A notice given to the Director under section 75B(5)(a) of the Act shall be treated as having been received by him–

(a)

subject to paragraph (b) below, on the day on which it is in fact delivered to his office (including by facsimile or other form of electronic transmission);

(b)

where it is delivered to his office on any day which is not a working day or after 5.00 p.m. on any working day, on the next working day,

and section 7 of the Interpretation Act 1978 shall not apply.
