England and Wales
The Authority must give written notice to Network Rail if any sale, lease or disposal is proposed to be made under section 54 (powers of disposal, agreements for operation, etc.) of the 1989 Act and any such notice must be given no later than 28 days before any such sale, lease or disposal is made and must describe or give (as appropriate)—
(a)
the nature of the sale, lease or disposal to be made;
(b)
the extent of the geographical area to which the sale, lease or disposal will relate; and
(c)
the name and address of the person to whom the sale, lease or disposal is to be made.
