Regulation 1 Citation, commencement, interpretation and extent

These Regulations may be cited as the Motor Vehicles (Driving Licences) (Amendment) Regulations 2012.

Regulations 2 and 4 come into force on 19th January 2013 but all the other regulations on 20th April 2012.

In these Regulations, “the principal Regulations” means the Motor Vehicles (Driving Licences) Regulations 1999^f1.

These Regulations extend to England and Wales and Scotland.
