Road Traffic

Coming into force 1st January 2018
The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 92(2) and (4)(b), and 105(1), (2) and (3) of the Road Traffic Act 1988f1, and after consulting with representative organisations in accordance with section 195(2)f2 of that Act.

Section 195(2) was amended by the Road Safety Act 2006, sections 42 and 59, Schedule 6 (paragraphs 1 and 30) and Schedule 7 (paragraph 14). At the date of these Regulations being made, these provisions are yet to be commenced in respect of this amendment.
