The Table preceding regulation 12 shall be omitted.

(2)

In regulation 12 –

(a)

in paragraph 1(1), for the words “as indicated in the Table on page 12 ”there shall be substituted the words “and, subject to paragraph (1A) below, shall be in writing”; and

(b)

after paragraph (1) there shall be inserted the following paragraph –

“(1A)

An application for a re-examination of a vehicle in Class VI under these Regulations need not be in writing if the application is made before the expiration of 28 days after the last examination.”.
