Regulation 1 Citation, commencement, extent and interpretation

These Regulations may be cited as the Nuclear Industries Security (Amendment) Regulations 2006.

These Regulations come into force on 25th November 2006.

Except for regulation 8 these Regulations extend to Northern Ireland.

In these Regulations—

• “the 2001 Act” means the Anti-terrorism Crime and Security Act 2001; and

• “the Principal Regulations” means the Nuclear Industries Security Regulations 2003^f1.
