Paragraph 18 Qualifying Nuclear Material Description and FlowF1

Description of main qualifying nuclear material: provide the following for all feed, intermediate product (powder, pellets, etc. separately stored or shipped) and product—

1. i)

   main types of accounting units to be handled in the facility (drums, elements, bundles, etc.);

2. ii)

   chemical and physical form (for product include types of fuel element/assemblies, detailed description of general structure and overall structure, overall dimensions of fuel elements/assemblies, including qualifying nuclear material content and enrichment), with drawings;

3. iii)

   throughput, uranium enrichment ranges or plutonium content, or thorium content (for normal flowsheet operation, indicating if blending and/or recycling takes place);

4. iv)

   batch size/flow rate and campaign period; means of batch identification;

5. v)

   storage and facility inventory (indicating any change with throughput);

6. vi)

   frequency of receipt or shipment (batches/units per month);
