In section 2f1—

(a)

omit subsection (3);

(b)

in subsection (5) for the words from “liable” to the end, substitute—

  • “liable—

    1. (a)

      on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding level 5 on the uniform scale; or

    2. (b)

      on conviction on indictment, to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years, or to a fine, or to both”; and

(c)

for subsection (6) substitute —

“(6)

In this Act “the uniform scale” means the scale specified for the time being in section 1 of the Uniform Scale of Fines (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law, 1989.”.
