Paragraph 20 Transfer of staff and propertyI1I2

United Kingdom

(1)

The Privy Council may by order provide for the transfer from the old to the new employer of any—

(a)

eligible employee; and

(b)

property, rights and liabilities.

(2)

In this paragraph—

(a)

“the new employer” means the Council; and

(b)

“the old employer” means the UKCC.

(3)

In this paragraph and in paragraph 21—

  • “an eligible employee” means a person who is employed under a contract of employment with the old employer; and

  • “property” includes rights and interests of any description.
