in subsection (1), for “offenders detained at a secure training centre” there is substituted “ persons detained in youth detention accommodation ”, and

in subsection (3), for paragraph (a) there is substituted—

“(a)

that he has been approved by the Secretary of State for the purpose of performing any of the following—

(i)

escort functions;

(ii)

custodial duties at secure training centres;”.
