The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by sections 22(1) and (2) of the Petroleum Act 1987^f1 (“the Act”), and for the purpose of giving effect to proposals submitted to him by the Health and Safety Commission under section 24(2A) of the Act, hereby makes the following Order:
