National Lottery

Coming into force 1st January 2009
Whereas the Secretary of State has by Order authorised the Parks for People (England) Joint Scheme (“the Scheme”), having received an application made for the purpose by the bodies proposing to participate in the joint scheme, namely the Big Lottery Fund and the National Heritage Memorial Fund;
And whereas the participants in the Scheme have modified it and have applied to the Secretary of State for an Order to be made authorising the Scheme as so modified;
Now, therefore, the Secretary of State hereby makes the following Order, in exercise of the powers conferred by paragraphs 2(1), 3 and 6(1) of Schedule 3A to the National Lottery etc Act 1993f1.
