Regulation 1 Title, commencement and interpretation

These Regulations may be cited as the Parliamentary Pensions (Amendment) Regulations 2001 and shall come into force on 1st April 2001.

In these Regulations—

• “the principal Regulations” means the Parliamentary Pensions (Consolidation and Amendment) Regulations 1993^f1;

• “the 1995 Act” means the Pensions Act 1995^f2;
