Explanatory note
(This note is not part of the Rules)
These Rules revoke and replace the Patent Office (Address) Rules 1985 (S.I. 1985/1099).
They give effect to the transfer of the Patent Office to two new addresses as follows:—
(a)
on 15th April 1991 to premises in Newport, Gwent; and
(b)
on 29th April 1991 to Southampton Buildings in London, from the existing address in State House.
They also specify the new address of the Manchester Branch of the Trade Marks Registry.
