Paragraph 5 I1

Section 55A (shared additional pension) is amended as follows.

For subsection (1) substitute—

“(1)

A person is entitled to a shared additional pension under this section if—

(a)

the person attained pensionable age before 6 April 2016, and

(b)

the person is entitled to an old state scheme pension credit.”

In subsections (2) and (3), after “shared additional pension” insert “ under this section ”.

In subsections (3), (4), (5) and (7) before “state scheme pension credit” (in each place) insert “ old ”.

At the end of the heading insert “ because of an old state scheme pension credit ”.
