Regulation 2

In these Regulations—

• “the 1971 Act” means the Pensions (Increase) Act 1971;

• “judicial pension” means any of the pensions specified in Schedule 2 to these Regulations;

• “the principal Regulations” means the Pensions Increase (Judicial Pensions) Regulations 1972^f1;

• “the 1973 Regulations” means the Pensions Increase (Judicial Pensions) (Amendment) Regulations 1973^f2

The Interpretation Act 1889 shall apply for the interpretation of these Regulations as it applies for the interpretation of an Act of Parliament.
