Coming into Operation 28th July 1986

The Secretary of State for Social Services, with the approval of the Treasury, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1 and 2 of the Personal Injuries (Emergency Provisions) Act 1939 and now vested in him f1, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Scheme:—
