Regulation 2

Paragraph 31 of Schedule 1 to the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1992^f1and Schedule 1 to the Personal Protective Equipment at Work Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1993^f2shall have effect as if references therein to Council Directive 89/686/EEC of 21st December 1989 on the approximation of the laws of the Member States relating to personal protective equipment^f3were references to that Directive as amended by Council Directive 93/95/EEC of 29th October 1993^f4.
