Paragraph 7 Amendment of the Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2005

Regulation 7 (hearing protection) of the Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2005 M1 is amended as follows—

(a)

in paragraph (4) for “requirement of the Personal Protective Equipment Regulations 2002” substitute “ legal requirement ”; and

(b)

after paragraph (4) insert—

“(5)
In paragraph (4), “legal requirement” means any requirement of the Personal Protective Equipment Regulations 2002 or Regulation (EU) 2016/425 of the European Parliament and of the Council on personal protective equipment and repealing Council Directive 89/686/EEC (OJ No L81, 31.3.2016, p51).”.
