In section 32(1) of the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Areas Act 1979—

(a)

for the words “the Town and Country Planning Act 1971” there shall be substituted the words “the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 or the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990”;

(b)

for the words “the said Act of 1971” there shall be substituted the words “the said Acts of 1990”.

(2)

In section 61 of that Act, in the definition of “works” in subsection (1) and in subsection (2)(b), for the words “the Town and Country Planning Act 1971” there shall be substituted the words “the Town and Country Planning Act 1990”.
