In section 33(9)(a) of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1982, for the words “section 1 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1971” there shall be substituted the words “section 2 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990”.

In section 37(8) of that Act, for the words “Part III of the Town and Country Planning Act 1971” there shall be substituted the words “Part III of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990”.

In paragraph (b) of the definition of “local authority” in section 41(13) and in section 45(2)(b) of that Act, for the words “section 1 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1971” there shall be substituted the words “section 2 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990”.
