Paragraph 3 Statutory and other references to principal Act etc.I1

(1)

This paragraph applies to any reference (express or implied) in the principal Act or any other enactment, or in any other instrument or document, to—

(a)

a provision that is contained in the principal Act or inserted into any other enactment by this Act, or

(b)

anything done or to be done under or for the purposes of such a provision.

(2)

In relation to any time when a corresponding provision of a repealed enactment (or of any earlier enactment) had effect, the reference is to be read as including a reference to—

(a)

the corresponding provision as it had effect at that time, or

(b)

things done or to be done under or for the purposes of that provision as it had effect at that time.
