Article 30 Claims for compensation and purchase notices

A claim for compensation made to the council under section 185 (compensation for loss due to stop notice) or 187 (compensation for loss due to temporary stop notice) of the 2011 Act, or a purchase notice served on the council under section 191 (service of purchase notice) of the 2011 Act shall be in writing.

Any such claim or notice shall be served within 6 months or such longer period as the council may allow, from the date of the decision in respect of which the claim or notice is made or given.
