Section 82 Application of Act to land and works of local planning authorities.

The provisions mentioned in subsection (3) shall have effect for the purpose of applications by local planning authorities relating to the execution of works for the demolition, alteration or extension of listed buildings, subject to such exceptions and modifications as may be prescribed.
Those provisions are sections 1(3), (5) and (6), F5... 3 to 5, 7 F6to 26, 28, F7... 32 to 50 (except F8section 39(6)), 60(1) to (4) (as it applies as respects the provisions mentioned in this subsection), 62 to 65, 67(2)(b), (6) and (7), 73(1), Schedules 1 F9... and 2, paragraph 2 of Schedule 4 (as it applies to Schedule 1) and paragraph 4(1) of Schedule 4 (as it applies as respects the provisions mentioned in this subsection).
Regulations under this section may in particular provide—
for the making of applications for listed building consent to the Secretary of State; and
for the issue or service by him of notices under section 2(3) and the provisions mentioned in subsection (3).
