The planning permission that may be granted by a direction under this Chapter is any planning permission that could be granted on an application under this Part.
Where planning permission is granted by a direction under this Chapter, this Act (except Chapters 3 and 4 of Part 14) applies in relation to the permission as if it had been granted by the Welsh Ministers on an application referred to them under section 72.
Accordingly—
Schedule 3 applies, with any necessary modifications, in relation to a planning permission granted by a direction under this Chapter as it applies in relation to a planning permission granted by a planning authority;
section 69 applies to a direction under this Chapter as if it were a decision notice.
