Regulation 9 is to be read as if—
(a)
the existing text were paragraph (1);
(b)
after paragraph (1), there were inserted—
“(2)The appropriate authority must make reasonable enquiries in order to determine the last known address of the officer concerned for the purposes of paragraph (1)(b).”.
