Section 116 Temporary event notices: acknowledgment of noticeI1

(1)

In section 102 of the Licensing Act 2003 (acknowledgement of notice)—

(a)

in subsection (1), for “(in duplicate) in accordance with this Part, it must acknowledge receipt of the notice by sending or delivering one notice” substitute “ in accordance with this Part, it must give written acknowledgement of the receipt of the notice ”, and

(b)

omit subsection (2).

(2)

The amendments made by this section apply in relation to temporary event notices that are given on or after the commencement of this section.
