Paragraph 123 Civil Procedure Rules 1998I1

The Civil Procedure Rules 1998 ^f1 are amended as follows.

In Schedule 1, in RSC Order 77 rule 17 (proceedings relating to postal packets) in paragraph (1) for the words “section 30(5) of the Post Office Act 1969” are substituted the words “section 92 of the Postal Services Act 2000”.

(3)

In Schedule 2, in CCR Order 49 rule 15 (Post Office Act 1969)—

(a)

for the words “Post Office Act 1969” in the heading are substituted the words “Postal Services Act 2000”;

(b)

in paragraph (1) for the words “section 30(5) of the Post Office Act 1969” are substituted the words “section 92 of the Postal Services Act 2000”; and

(c)

in paragraph (2) for the words “Post Office” are substituted the words “universal service provider”.
