Article 1 Citation, commencement and interpretation

(1)

This Order may be cited as the Private Security Industry Act 2001 (Amendment) (Northern Ireland) Order 2009 and shall come into force on the day after the day on which it is made.

In this Order “2001 Act” means the Private Security Industry Act 2001 F1.

This section allows provision to be made dealing with any matter falling within a description specified in any of paragraphs 9 to 17 of Schedule 3 to the Northern Ireland Act 1998; the provisions of this Order fall within paragraph 9(c) of that Schedule. Under section 98(2) of that Act a provision deals with any matter or matters which it affects more than incidentally.
