Paragraph 8

In Schedule 2 to the Local Government Act 1988 (bodies which are public authorities for purposes of provisions relating to public supply or works contracts), for the entry relating to probation committees there shall be substituted the following entry— “ A probation committee (within the meaning of the Probation Service Act 1993). ”
