Article 2 Name change
Jabhat Fatah al-Sham, being a name that is not specified in Schedule 2 to the Terrorism Act 2000, is to be treated as another name for the organisation listed in that Schedule as Al-Qa’idaf1.

Al-Qa’ida was added to Schedule 2 to the Terrorism Act 2000 by article 2 of S.I. 2001/1261. Article 2 of S.I. 2013/1795 specifies that “al-Nusrah Front” and “Jabhat al-Nusrah li-ahl al Sham” are to be treated as other names for Al-Qa’ida.
