References in this Act to a traffic area constituted for the purposes thereof by a particular designation are references to the area described by that designation F1in article 4 of, and Schedule 1 to, the Traffic Areas (Reorganisation) Order 1990.

Subsection (1) above has effect subject to the powers of the Secretary of State under section 3 of this Act to vary the provisions of this Act constituting traffic areas; . . . F2
