Lighting shall be fitted to illuminate the interior and exterior of a regulated public service vehicle sufficient to allow a wheelchair user to board and alight from the vehicle in safety.

Any lighting fitted to a regulated public service vehicle in accordance with sub-paragraph (1) shall have a means of preventing its operation when the vehicle is in motion if its use is likely to affect adversely the driver’s vision.
