Article 2 Amendment of Schedule 1A to the Race Relations Act 1976

Schedule 1A to the Race Relations Act 1976^f1 is amended as follows:

(a)

in Part 1, under the sub-heading “Other housing bodies”, omit the entry “Scottish Homes.”;

(b)

in Part 2, under the sub-heading “Libraries, museums and arts”, omit the entry “The Royal Fine Art Commission for Scotland.”;

(c)

in Part 3, under the sub-heading “Other Bodies etc.”, omit the entry “The Pensions Compensation Board.”;

(d)

in Part 4, under the sub-heading “Other Bodies etc”, omit the entry “Bòrd na Gàidhlig (Alba)”; and

(e)

after Part 4, insert the headings and entries set out in the Schedule to this Order.

f1: Schedule 1A was inserted by section 2(2) and Schedule 1 to the Race Relations (Amendment) Act 2000 (c.34). Part 2 was inserted by S.I. 2001/3457, Part 3 was inserted by S.I. 2003/3007 and Part 4 was inserted by S.I. 2004/3127. There are other amendments to Parts 1 to 3 which are not relevant to this Order.
