Paragraph 9 The Children's Homes Regulations 2001

in paragraph (1) for the words “The registered person” substitute “ Subject to paragraph (1A) the registered person ”; and

after paragraph (1) insert—

“(1A)

Where the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 applies to the children's home—

(a)

paragraph (1) does not apply; and

(b)

the registered person must ensure that the requirements of that Order and any regulations made under it, except for article 23 (duties of employees), are complied with in respect of the home.”.
