Explanatory note
(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order redetermines for the fifth time the amount of the revenue support grant payable to each local authority in respect of each of the financial years 1991-92 and 1992-93.
As a consequence, the Order revokes the Revenue Support Grant (Scotland) Order 1996 which previously redetermined the amount of such grant payable in respect of those financial years.
The local authorities referred to in the Order ceased to exist as at 1st April 1996 and arrangements for additional payments, and repayments, arising from this Order accordingly fall to be made with the new authorities which came into existence on that date.
