Article 1 Citation, commencement and application

(1)

This Order may be cited as the Scallop Fishing (England) Order 2012 and comes into force on 1st October 2012.

(2)

This Order applies in England and within British fishery limits.

(3)

But British fishery limits do not include—

(a)

the Northern Ireland zone (within the meaning of section 98(1) of the Northern Ireland Act 1998 M1);

(b)

the Scottish zone (within the meaning of section 126(1) & (2) of the Scotland Act 1998 M2);

(c)

the Welsh zone (within the meaning of section 158(1) of the Government of Wales Act 2006 M3); or

(d)

the territorial sea adjacent to the Isle of Man, Jersey or Guernsey.
